A HUGE thank you to all that came out and helped with the tidy up of the village this year. It was great to see faces old and new – with new villagers coming to help. We covered the whole village, up Wysall Lane, out beyond the church and collected bags and bags of litter – a job really well done.

This year’s Great British Spring Clean runs from 25th march to 10th April. It’s a wonderful opportunity for us to all tidy up around the village and around your own house.
On Sunday 10th April there will be a Village Litter Pick! Any volunteers would be greatly appreciated. The Parish Council will meet outside the Village Hall at 10am. Bio-degradable rubbish bags and litter pickers will be provided. All rubbish will be collected from outside the Village Hall on Monday 11th April.
To coincide with the Village Litter Pick, the Village Hall will be open from 10.30am-12pm selling bacon rolls, toasted tea cakes, fruit juices, tea & coffee. You do not need to be involved with the litter pick to pop in for a coffee, butty and a chat. We’d love to see any villagers there for a lovely Sunday morning breakfast!
